Why Oil prices are high!

 Those who complain about oil prices,

think before you complain!

Yes gas prices are higher,

we ARE however in a high demand right now.

Under the clown trump we had a pandemic

and not many were on the roads as now, so gas prices were lower.

It is simple economics, called supply and demand.

I learned that in grade school.

And secondly we stopped getting oil from Russia,

in which we really only received 8 percent of our oil.

Thirdly Biden released oil reserves

and we ARE producing more of our own oil than ever before.

Do NOT believe the lies the GOP is telling you.

Do your research and learn the facts.

Lastly If the Environmental reform, and Green New Jobs section of the BBB passed;

we would not be in this miss as much as we are.

And the economist agree that our job growth would have been more vast.

As Bill McKibbin of 350 org puts it - "we have to have our energy dependence

with green new energy, more biking, and use less oil."

I say that in a way this Ukraine war was good for us as an eye opener for the amount of oil we use.

When we stopped getting oil from Russia and the fuel prices went higher,

it should force us than rather to complain, then to fight harder for the environment, the earth,

renewable energy, and green new jobs.

And that is another my two cents!

I support Ukraine

 My two cents;

anyone whom is in the senate or congress that supports Putin and Russia

instead of

Zelenskyy and Ukraine is a traitor to our nation in my view.

And any news organization IE FOX or reporters IE Tucker Carlson

that spread lies or disinformation about the war are also a traitor.

This war is a Illegal invasion to a sovereign democratic nation.

As a combat veteran myself I have seen the horrors of war

and those images of the war in Ukraine on TV give my flashbacks and nightmares.

However, the wars I fought in were not illegal wars;

they were wars that started from attacks on our nation,

and I had to defend it IE the war after the 9-1-1 attacks "Afghanistan" and "Iraq",

or the the war after the attack on the marine barracks "Lebanon",

or even the Gulf War.

All war is Hell; and those who provoke a war

or attack a sovereign nation without any just cause are evil authoritarian dictators.

And as such need to be tried and convicted for their war crimes.

And any senator or congressmen that support such dictators should be disbarred;

and held accountable in a court of law.

And that is my two cents.

I support Ukraine; for that is the right thing to do.

For that is the American thing to do.

For that is the Patriotic thing to do.

My prayers for Ukraine; and the gallant people there.

Who Biden is to me!

 My friends -

Biden to me is a combination of

Lincoln, FDR, and Eisenhower.

Lincoln during the time of the civil war freed the slaves,

but the black and brown are still oppressed in many ways;

Biden is trying to fix that with Social Justice reform.

FDR enacted many programs like social security,

bills that helped farmers, the rail roads and such.

Biden is fighting to enact parts of his Build Back Better

with helping the poor families, lowering prescription drug costs,

child care, paid family leave and most importantly -

climate reform to protect our earth and enact green new jobs.

And Eisenhower built our interstate system,

Biden fought to pass an infrastructure bill;

no bill like it has been passed since Eisenhower was in.

Now he put us back into NATO, the EPA, the WHO,

and the Paris accord. He is building America back stronger.

And now he is sending troops to Poland and monies to Ukraine

to help fight the evil tyranny and illegal invasion of Ukraine from Russia

by a authoritarian dictator who only cares about himself

and not even his own people by the name of Putin,

in whom Trump praised and called him a genius

for starting war with Ukraine.

And that is another my two cents.

What happened to the GOP?

 They become the party of Trump.

They are no longer the party of Lincoln. 

Lincoln cared about others, he united the country during our civil war with his 

"Gettysburg Address". 

Trump is the total opposite; he is evil, hateful, cares only about himself. 

He spreads lies and false conspiracies, he bullies and cyberbullies, 

he was the criminal and chief.  

And those who follow him are just as evil. 

He is a narcissist. 

Ulysses S. Grant (Republican) (1822 - 1885) - enacted the 15th Amendment of 1870 -

this gave citizens the right to vote. 

In 1965 LBJ (Democrat) (1908 - 1973) - enacted the Voting Rights Act of 1965. 

In  1975 Gerald Ford (Republican) (1913 - 2006) - extended the Voting Rights Act of 1965. 

In 1982 Ronald Reagan (Republican) (1911 - 2004) - signed a 25 year extension to the act. 

In 2007 George W. Bush (Republican) - let the Voting Rights Act of 1965 expire. 

Today the Democratic party is trying to pass the "Freedom to Vote Act HR1" 

and the "John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act"; yet the GOP does not care.

The GOP refuses to pass it!!!

The first voting rights act were enacted by Republicans - by the GOP;

yet today they are the total opposite and will not allow others the freedom to vote. 

Ever since the Republicans allowed the voting rights act to expire,

they made it much harder to vote and not easier to vote. 

Instead their states are enacting strict discriminatory voting laws;

laws that do not allow others to have water in long voting lines,

laws that make it harder for the black and brown to vote, 

laws the limit ballot boxes and such. 

This is not right my Peeps; my readers and followers.

I say let us stop the Filibuster, which 2 of our democrat constituents are stopping as well, 

Senima and Manchin, call those two senators to stop the Filibuster!  

I don't understand why they do not care. And lets  get these voting rights acts passed,

so we can stop the GOP and their evil racist Jim Crow laws going backward agenda. 

Call your congressman or congresswoman; call your senator and urge them to pass the...

"Freedom to Vote Act HR1" and the "John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act"!

Also let us get the "George Floyd Police Reform Act" passed as well,

so we can finally end the discriminatory policing laws that started after the Civil War;

where blacks and browns still had to work as slaves to finally own their land, 

where in the late 1950's the Jim Crow Laws were enacted with the separation of race,

where police started profiling the blacks and browns,

where a Football player by the name of QB Colin Kaepernick took a knee to 

protest police brutality,

yet got banned from the NFL;

but another Football player by the name of QB Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers

(a QB whom I used to respect, but no longer respect)

had many Covid19 protocol violations and lied about his vaccination, 

yet still plays for the NFL. 

Kaepernick is black and Rodgers is white. See my point?

We have to end Racial Profiling and Discrimination; 

and pass the "George Floyd Police Reform Act".  

Lastly my friends it seems that most of those anti-vaxxers are from the GOP. 

Those who are not vaccinated are now dying from Covid19 

and filling up the hospitals with the new variant called "Omnicon". 

Those who are chanting my body, my choice. 

If that is the case why can't women choose to get an abortion. 

If the GOP want my body, my choice for the vaccine;

then the women should have my body, my choice for abortion. 

Instead lets get our vaccinations and boosters; get this Covid19 crises under control;

and pass the "Build Back Better Act": 

which will help those people that the GOP say they are for. 

It will help them in their bills with the Child Care, with Paid family Leave, 

and also Build a Better Climate with the "Climate Reform Bill" attached. 

But instead the GOP is against anything good. 

They instead are for Trump, they instead want us to go backward instead of forward,

they do not care about the climate change, bad weather affecting crops

 like the floods last year in Iowa and the Midwest, 

nor the tornadoes in the middle of winter...

...from climate change. 

Nor do they care if the rich pay their fair share. 

Lets bring the "Wealth Tax" back so they can. 

They particularly Boebart, Margerie Taylor Greene, McCarthy, 

those Senators and Reps revealed in the Meadows texts -

Jordan, Perry, Gosar, Gohmert, Brooks, and Biggs - 

 flip-flopping McConnell and others want to back Trump!

They spreaded voting fraud lies, hate, false conspiracies 

and did everything the could to overturn a fair well counted election of a true President - 

President Biden;

an election that had very little voter fraud if any, 

an election that was counted 4 times in Georgia alone,

an election in which its lies lead to an attack on our capital on January 6th,

which now we have a January 6th commission leading to the truth,

a commission which many courts like the Southern District of New York 

and courts in Georgia are after Trump for his crimes of insurrection, falsehoods,  

conspiring against an election and many other crimes. 

And this is the man that much of the GOP still want to follow. 

I do not get that. 

Instead why do we not prosecute the Senators and high ranked officials 

involved in the insurrection, disband them, better vet the officials, 

get new well vetted officials, and pass these bills of Biden 

and make America and the world a better place. 

Let us go forward instead of backward. 

In short: 

 follow the science of the Covid19 crises and get your vaccines and boosters. 

DO NOT BE AN ANTIVAXER; GET VAXXED, GET BOOSTED!

follow Biden, not the evil Trump!!!

CALL YOUR REPS TO LIFT THE FILIBUSTER 

AND GET THE BIDEN AGENDA IE 

THE BUILD BACK BETTER ACT, 

THE FREEDOM TO VOTE ACT HR1, 

THE JOHN R LEWIS VOTING RIGHTS ACT,

GEORGE FLOYD POLICE REFORM ACT, 

AND CLIMATE REFORM AND GREEN NEW JOBS,

PASSED!

AND HAVE THE RICH PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE WITH A WEALTH TAX!

CALL THEM  AND URGE THEM TO PASS THESE BILLS

AND LETS GO FORWARD AND NOT BACKWARD.

Stand for goodness not bad, kindness not hate,

stand against bullying and for compassion,

stand and be Christ-like or a person like him,

stand for the climate and earth justice, 

stand to make America and the world a better place.

Not Guilty, Huh?

 Another white privileged man gets away with murder. 

Sadly white privilege wins again.

Tamir Rice was 12 and killed for having a toy gun

while playing on the playground.

Kalief Browler was 16 and stole a backpack

and went to juvenal detention for 3 and a half years.

Brionna Taylor was 26 and killed in her home by the police

and she was unarmed.

Trayvon Martin who was 17 was killed while walking home

by George Zimmerman who claimed it was self defense,

but it was not; Martin had no weapon.

It was just another white man who got away with

murder of a black teen.

This was back in 2012.

Yet since then more and more cops and white men

have gotten away with murdering blacks

or innocent bystanders and protesters.

Like with the Rittenhouse case; it was murder.

One cannot claim self defense while threatening another

with a semi automatic weapon and expect the person not to react.

Another white privilege case.

It was unacceptable. NO Justice again.

After the George Floyd case I thought things would change

after he got justice for his murder;

but I do not think things will ever change in America.

Year End Letter 2021

 

Well my friends and family as 2021 comes to a close I reflect on the year and realize it is better than last year and know that 2022 will be even better. In 2020 the covid crises went out of control with a president that spread hate, conspiracies and lies. Also last year I lost a great mentor and friend to me – Master Miriam Stevens (1948 – 2020). Sadly this year we lost our dog Scruffy. Thankfully in 2021 we got a new president who cares about America, its people, and the climate. He is making every effort to build America back better. And I feel things are getting better. And I feel that 2022 will be a great year.

This year 2021 we still have covid safety prodicals, but my wife Jill and I had a good year for the most part. In June we went camping at Sugar Bottom Campground at Coralville Lake. It was not fun camping this year, however, as the campers in site one decided to have a so-called bachelors party and where extremely loud – blasting music until all hours of the night. At 1 AM they were finally quiet as I told them to shut up. In spite of no sleep I still went kayaking the next day to the Coralville Dam. We are never going back to Sugar Bottom Campground.

In the first week of October we drove to Oklahoma City Oklahoma for the 34^th USS New Jersey BB-62 Battleship Reunion. We went and saw the Oklahoma City Bombing Victims Memorial, ate lunch at a place called Mad Cow Cafe, and went at saw the Cowboy Museum where we got autographs, on a poster, from all the artists that made the sculptures and art at the museum. We did have a fun time at the 34^th Battleship Reunion and in Oklahoma City. Of course in October is my favorite Holiday – Halloween. It is the last Halloween we are celebrating here as we are preparing to move to New Mexico. We already started to get rid of things and packing up the house.

We are looking forward to having a ranch home and land, traveling across the states, and one day raising horses. I am going to finish my Private Investigator license in New Mexico and help search for trafficked or missing children. I am also planning on building an Okinawan style dojo and teaching art and karate classes again. I am also looking forward to exploring all the bike trails in New Mexico, Utah, and in Colorado. And do the historical haunted tours. We, my wife and I, have much to look forward to as we begin the next journey of our lives. And hopefully in 2023 we will be able to finally take our wedding anniversary trip to Holland.

If I was a Juror I would find Rittenhouse guilty!

 My two cents -

as a Security Tech and a ex Navy Master at Arms,

I say without a doubt that Kyle Rittenhouse is guilty of murder.

For one he lied about being an EMT,

he lied about protecting a business,

a business he knew nothing about,

he was not even from Kenoshi WI,

in fact he was from a different state IL,

he illegally obtained the semi automatic AR15

which he used in the murders,

he had no business being there at the BLM protest

and no business carrying the AR15,

he brought it there looking for trouble,

he put down a fire extinguisher he was carrying

and pointed the weapon at innocent bystanders,

therefore he became the aggressor threatening them,

and the bystanders became the victims,

the bystanders were the ones that became the defenders,

and Rittenhouse could therefore no longer claim self defense.

It was murder plain and simple!

He murdered two people and wounded another.

Guilty as charged.

And that is "my two cents".
