what I seen,
the combat I went through in; Lebanon, Philippines, Bosnia, Iraq, and Kuwait,
the shipmates I never lost touch with; B, Kira, Old Dan Tucker, Squiggy, to name a few,
the great camaraderie I had,
the west pacs, Caribbean, and Mediterranean deployments,
the humanitarian ops I went on to Africa,
the expeditions to Iceland, the arctic, and the antarctic,
and my favorite ship; the Battleship New Jersey BB-62.

I want to give a memorial day weekend shout out to all the shipmates I served with on;
the Battleship New Jersey,
security duty in the Philippines and Japan,
at CHB5 Sand Point Washington,
on the USS Underwood FFG-36,
on the USS Richmond K. Turner CG-20,
on the USS John C. Stennis CVN-74,
at Newport Rhode Island,
on the USS Belleauwood LHA-3,
and at NAVSTA Great Lakes.

Thank you for your service;
and all the other shipmates; sailors, marines, and soldiers and airman I served with.
Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!
And do not forget those who served and gave that ultimate sacrifice.
