Are we in dangerous times?

It might open someones eyes to what is really going on with the environment.
Like John Kerry said, "We have to get more grass roots groups involved 
and hold the oil companies responsible for polluting the environment."
He was one of the original people who started Earth Day back in 1970,
this led to the EPA and other environmental organizations.
The Obama administration has set higher EPA standards,
reduced our oil import by 10 percent, and has stopped the pipeline so far.
Unfortunately lobbyist and the big oil companies with all their money have the power. 
All the search for off shore oil and the drilling that is going off Greenland
as all the Ice Caps are melting is not logical.
I don't understand why people can not open their eyes.
Look at what the Gulf spell did back in 2010,
we are still feeling the economic effects. 
The internal combustion engine we use in our automobiles is obsolete,
I like the fact of hybrid cars. But is it too little too late?
We can do more, we need a shift in the other direction.
I am writing another letter to congress, it is our right to do.
I don't know if they listen, but we have the right of our voice. 

 What I saw so far in this show is intriguing.
I am active in environmental groups trying to get the
government and these big corrupt oil companies to listen.
I am am member of 350org and we have been an
influence in stopping the XL pipeline.
When I was in the arctic back in 1994 on an expedition
there was ice shifts then.
It is much worse now, the ice is melting more rapid. 
Though we had a cold long winter, 
many of you will think that disproves climate change. 
But in fact it proves that we are warming, 
the ice caps melting causes rapid changes in the weather. 
This year we had a polar vortex that caused a long winter. 
But look at the rise in the earths temperature in general,
since the Industrial Revolution. 
This is when man started to pollute the environment. 
The temperature drops are when there was volcanic eruptions.
The ash cools the atmosphere. 
This year it was cooled by the Polar Vortex.
But we had early summers in 2011, 12, and 13. 
They were long and hot. See the point. 
The earth is warming.
