Lest I will never forget what happened 11 years ago today;
the fall of the twin towers in New York, the
attack on the Pentagon in Washington DC, and the crash of flight 93 in Shanksville Pennsylvania. May the
lord be with those families of those who lost their lives today and may those
who died be looking down on us from heaven and guiding us this day. Lord I will
never forget standing in formation on the USS Belleauwood LHA 3 and forming the
words, “9 1 1 Lets Roll”. May the tragedy of that day become a memorial
forever; even after 11 years I will never forget. Amen!
